Highly regarded pianist, jazz musician and composer Joe Webb has emerged as a leading force on the UK jazz scene today, seamlessly blending traditional jazz with contemporary flair. His innovative approach breathes new life into classic jazz idioms, creating a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly original. Originally from Wales but now based in London he is also in demand as a recording artist, showcasing his exceptional skills on both piano and Hammond organ. Joe’s trio amalgamate the old and the new earning them a deserved reputation for pushing the boundaries of jazz while respecting its rich heritage.

“With his talent, Webb really could be the bearer of vintage jazz to Gen X and beyond.” – The Times ★★★★
“…shrewdly reappraising swing, boogie and the blues in storming runs and splashy chording” – The Guardian
“There are few people more joyous to listen to at the piano than Joe Webb” – BBC Radio 2, “…the boundary-pushing Joe Webb Trio” – BBC Radio 3

Joe Webb takes inspiration from the flavour of 90’s Brit-pop and adding references to his Welsh cultural roots. He is known for his work with the acclaimed Kansas Smitty’s, Rob Luft, Jamie Cullum and Damien Lewis and his recent collaborations with the Wynton Marsalis Quartet, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. Following the success of his acclaimed EPs ‘Collblanc’ and ‘SET’ in early 2024, Joe’s highly anticipated full-length album ‘Hamstrings & Hurricanes’ was released in 2025 to critical acclaim.

“…an extraordinary young pianist and writer who can also illuminate the music of the great masters…the wonderful, amazing Joe Webb!” – Jools Holland
