The special concert held on 18 May 2024 at the Crucible Theatre to celebrate 50 years of Sheffield Jazz was a huge success and a truly memorable night. An audience of over 700 people saw two great sets; by the Emma Rawicz Quartet and by Tony Kofi’s Quartet playing the music of Thelonious Monk. There are some photos of the event on our Gallery page.
Thanks must go to both bands for some superb music and to all the people, particularly our volunteers, involved in organising the event and making it happen on the night. It was great to see so many friends and supporters and to welcome back some of those who were involved in running Sheffield Jazz in earlier times. Thanks to our loyal audience and the Friends of Sheffield Jazz. We appreciate your support and hope you continue to enjoy the music we present in future.
