Flautist Gareth Lockrane, one of the UK’s most celebrated jazz musicians, leads a band of top musicians, all long-time collaborators. Gareth plays all the flutes and is also a pianist, arranger and a prolific composer. He is renowned around the world as one of the most versatile jazz flautists, boasting numerous accolades and awards and a string of high profile appearances alongside the likes of the James Taylor Quartet, Natalie Williams, Lianne La Havas, Nikki Iles and Bheki Mseleku. His other projects include his big band, his band ‘Grooveyard’ and his septet, all of which have produced acclaimed albums.

Once named “Rising Star on Flute” in the prestigious Downbeat Critics Poll, Gareth Lockrane won a Parliamentary Jazz Award in the ‘Best Album’ category for the album ‘No Messin’, while his album “The Strut” was named “Jazz album in the year” in MOJO magazine! Equally skilled as a composer – he has a Master’s Degree from the National Film and Television School – Gareth is also course director of the prestigious junior jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music. Since graduating from the Royal College of Music and winning the prestigious Humphrey Lyttelton Award, Nadim Teimoori has been a regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s, The Vortex and at the 606. Nick Costley-White is one of the most in demand jazz guitarists in the UK, renowned for a deep understanding of the jazz tradition, alongside a virtuosic technique and progressive approach to improvising. He has performed with some of the most renowned jazz musicians in the UK including Stan Sulzmann, Jason Rebello, Ivo Neame, Kit Downes and Jeff Williams and holds the guitar chair with the London Jazz Orchestra. https://www.nickcostleywhite.co.uk/

Oli Hayhurst is one of the busiest bass players on the London jazz scene playing with a wide range of stars of jazz, classical and world music and has been featured on over 60 albums. Oli has had long associations with UK artists including Zoe Rahman, Julian Siegel, Tim Whitehead and with international artists including Ray Gelato and Pharoah Sanders.

New Yorker Gene Calderazzo is one of the most in-demand drummers on the European scene with performances including with Pharoah Sanders, Radiohead and Wayne Krantz. And tours with Zoe Rahman, Julian Siegel, Steve Grossman, Eddie Henderson, Bobby Watson, Phil Woods and Randy Brecker.
