Sheffield Jazz Committee

Sheffield Jazz committee always welcome practical help from people with the time and skills to contribute to the organisational work needed to continue running successful concert programmes, fundraising etc, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Tim Plant on t.plant@btinternet.com to find out more.

Become a Friend of Sheffield Jazz

Sheffield Jazz committee want to build on the very encouraging response to last year’s appeal. As part of our continuing programme to build the audiences and viability of Sheffield Jazz and get more people actively involved, we’ve decided to introduce a “Friends Scheme”.

We want to work up this idea in consultation with our supporters. The initial plan is that people who contribute £50 or more annually by Standing Order, including those already subscribing, will get various benefits, such as:

  • Recognition on the Sheffield Jazz website
  • Getting regular updates on Sheffield Jazz progress and forthcoming gigs/events
  • Possible invitations to periodic “meet the artists” sessions before or after gigs
  • Other benefits being considered

If you are interested, please email Sheffield.jazz@blueyonder.co.uk

Sheffield Jazz is particularly grateful to the following people, who have become founder members of the Friends Scheme by agreeing to support Sheffield Jazz financially through signing regular Standing Orders. Their help is very much appreciated, and helps to underpin the overall viability of Sheffield Jazz and to make it possible for us to arrange more gigs than would otherwise be possible.

  • Paul Hough
  • Kuan Lee
  • Julian Paul
  • Celia Cashman
  • Sean Spence
  • Trevor Dickinson
  • Josephine Swinhoe
  • Robert Little
  • Tim Plant
  • Dave Silver
  • Harvey Colman
